New: Artist Terry Towel Collection 2026

New: Artist Terry Towel Collection 2026

This Summer, ZigZagZurich transforms everyday moments by the water into a moving canvas with the new Artist Terry Beach Towel Collection 2026 — a series of bold, artist designed towels that shift between graphic rhythm, playful colour compositions and contemporary visual storytelling.

From sun washed stripes and expressive geometry to softer gradients and abstract forms, each design brings its own atmosphere to the beach, the pool, the park or the terrace. Together, the collection captures the energy of summer through colour, texture and artistic expression.

More than a beach accessory, these towels are designed as portable pieces of contemporary design — made to travel from slow mornings by the lake to long afternoons in the sun.

What makes this collection different

Designed with personality
Each towel is created in collaboration with artists, translating contemporary artworks into tactile woven compositions full of colour, movement and character.

Softness meets performance
Crafted in Europe from 100% yarn dyed twisted terry cotton with OEKO TEX® certified materials, the towels are highly absorbent, soft to the touch and designed for everyday use throughout the summer season.

Oversized comfort
At 100 × 180 cm (40” × 71”), the generous format makes them ideal for beach days, poolside lounging, travel or stretching out in the park.

Made to last
Produced in Europe with attention to craftsmanship and durability, each towel is designed to maintain its softness, colour and structure wash after wash.

Craft, colour and summer living

Every towel is woven using premium terry cotton techniques that create depth, softness and rich colour variation throughout the surface. The double sided construction subtly reveals the artwork in reverse, adding another visual layer to each piece.

Easy to care for and made for everyday routines, the collection is machine washable at 40 degrees and tumble dry safe on low heat — ready to move effortlessly between home, beach and travel.

Style notes (how we love to use them)

Poolside statement
Let bold graphic designs stand out against natural stone, wood or sandy tones.

Beyond the beach
Use them as picnic blankets, terrace throws or colourful accents inside contemporary interiors.

Colour on colour
Pair vibrant towels with striped swimwear, bright umbrellas or sun faded linen for an expressive summer palette.

Rolled, folded, displayed
The designs are just as striking hanging in a bathroom or draped over a chair as they are spread out by the water.

Why it belongs in your summer

Because the objects we use every day should feel inspiring. These towels are made for spontaneous swims, salt on skin, afternoons in the park, road trips, rooftop evenings and quiet mornings in the sun.

They bring art into daily rituals — creating pieces that feel playful, functional and unmistakably alive throughout the summer season.

“AURORA SKY” BY MICHELE RONDELLI

Minimal and atmospheric, Aurora Sky captures the calm gradient of an endless summer horizon, fading softly between sky blue and white light.

“GENTLE TOUCH” BY SEBASTIAN MARBACHER

On the lawn at the Lido, on a warm stone by the river, or in the comfort of your own home. Gentle Touch – snuggled up and cocooned in a feeling of connectedness.

“HANDS OFF” BY MICHELE RONDELLI

Hands Off is the cheeky follow-up to the iconic “Legs” towel – replacing endless legs with graphic red hands climbing through bold vertical stripes. Somewhere between pop art, beach humour and visual protest, the design plays with repetition, movement and irony, turning an everyday beach towel into a playful graphic statement piece.

“YOU SEE WHAT YOU SEE” BY DARIO CORTESE

Two eyes staring back at you? A hidden face? A triangle ready to take off? Or… none of the above? You See What You See is more than a title: it’s an open-ended game, an image suspended between form and interpretation. Bold shapes, solid colors, essential geometries. Two circles that could be eyes, planets, or shapes, their meaning shifting depending on who’s looking.

“LINE BREAK” BY SYLVAIN BROTTES

Let yourself be surprised by Line Break. Its projections will adapt to your state of mind depending on the orientation of the towel and the direction you give it.

“SARDIGNA” BY DARIO CORTESE

No, it’s not a can you forgot in your bag. It’s the most “packed” beach towel you’ll bring to the shore. Sardigna mixes irony and style: a tightknit group of sardines, neatly arranged and squeezed together, ready to sunbathe with you. A playful design that sparks smiles and comments like, “wait, are those sardines?” Because you came to relax… just not necessarily alone.

“HACIENDA” BY MICHELE RONDELLI

Hacienda channels postmodern energy through diagonal stripes and joyful colour clashes, evoking the spirit of Memphis design and sun-drenched holiday architecture.

“THE SWIMMER” BY REBECCA

Why not become The Swimmer and create a pool anywhere you like, especially on the towel you use to dry yourself after a morning (or afternoon, evening, etc.) swim.

“CHROMAX” BY MICHELE RONDELLI

A rhythmic explosion of colour, Chromax transforms classic stripes into a vibrant optical composition inspired by colour field studies and architectural facades.
