David Schmitt’s “The Elephant” turns a single sweeping silhouette into a reminder of quiet strength and empathy. Jacquard-woven from 100% recycled cotton, the throw is velvety soft yet rugged enough for sofas, sunny lawns, or seaside sunsets. Made in limited batches that directly support the artist, it wraps everyday moments in a playful conversation about caring for nature and one another.
A Symbol of Kindness and Quiet Power
With confident brush-like lines, Schmitt renders an elephant whose watchful eye and outstretched trunk cradle a sprig of life. The pared-back black-on-ivory palette heightens the message: true strength lies in gentleness. Whether displayed as wall art or draped over shoulders, “The Elephant” invites reflection on coexistence—urging us to move through the world with curiosity, protection, and heart. Each thread preserves this loving manifesto, transforming your space into a sanctuary of mindful design.

To order custom curtains, start by measuring your window or track width. You’ll then choose your desired fullness in the next step – we’ll take care of the final curtain width based on that.
Step 1: Measure the Width & Height
Take 3 measurements – from the top of the curtain track (or where you plan to install it) to the floor or desired curtain length:
Step 2: Choose Your Fullness
Fullness refers to the extra fabric used to create a soft, wavy drape. While you provide the actual width of your window or track, we use that as a base and apply additional fabric to achieve the desired visual effect.
You’ll select your preferred fullness in the next step
No need to do extra math — just choose the look you want, and we’ll calculate the final curtain width accordingly.

Fullness refers to the extra fabric used to create a beautifully draped, wavy look. Although your window’s dimensions set the base size, we adjust the curtain width to add style and volume.

We work with purpose: to challenge conventions, to protect craft, to create beauty that outlives trends. We use premium materials and artisanal processes to ensure lasting quality in every detail. Art in your home. Not on a screen, not in a gallery — woven into your space, lived with every day.
ZIGZAGZURICH – WHERE ARTISTS MEET TEXTILES
We believe sustainability starts with responsibility — to materials, to people, to place. That’s why where possible every part of our production happens within 500km: from sourcing natural and recycled fibers to weaving, sewing, and finishing in Italy. We work with Oeko-Tex® certified fabrics, renewable treatments, and sustainable mills. By keeping things close, transparent, and human, we reduce our footprint and honor the craft. Lovingly made, honestly produced — for the place you live and the planet we share.
